Dear Memmelaar family, friends and fellow officers,
I rode my bike 75 miles yesterday with Major Memmelaar's information on my wrist as part of the annual Texas Heroes Ride in Conroe, Texas. Every one of the other +100 riders did the same with another fallen officer's name. My faith is that we are all connected in the mystical body of Christ's church. I have further connection with Major Memmelaar in that I suffered a heart attack 2 years ago while on a bike ride and my Son-in-law is a LEO with the Temple Texas Police Department. HIs father was also on this ride with me.

Please know I am praying for Major Memmelaar's deliverance into heaven, for peace and comfort for his family and safety to all first responders. God Bless,

Ryan Colburn
