Reflections for Trooper Tony Vian Radulescu

Trooper Radulescu, i'm sorry for what happened to you 13 years ago, as your murder was unjustified. There really was no reason for your death, as the person who killed you was evil and a coward. His intentions were uncalled for, as it was clear he was looking to kill an officer that night. But truth be told, he is suffering his punishment in the afterlife with his actions, meaning he is suffering where he is right now. But to add more to him being a spineless coward, he took his own life after the SWAT team found him, which says alot about how he wasn't able to take responsibility and take his punishment. But on the bright side, that means there's a sense of justice for your case, since he won't bother anyone else again, and that your family can have some closure and peace with the fact that he's gone. Also, i'm sure your son has grown up to learn about your legacy and who you were, since you left an impact on not just your family and friends, but on the state of Washington. You truly were a dedicated man, having served in the U.S. Army along with Washington State Patrol, for over 16 years. Some people may not realize, but being a trooper for nearly 20 years takes alot of hard work and courage to do, and you were one of the many men in world to have what it takes to achieve that. I'm sure your impact won't ever be forgotten, because no officer deserves to be forgotten, especially with the likes of you. Although i never met you, i can tell you were a genuienly good man to know and be around, since from what i read you were funny and made friends with alot of people during your time and career. Although you're not physically here, your legacy and impact will never be forgotten for as time goes on, and i'd like to think you're still protecting and serving in the afterlife, or if you ever planned on retiring before your passing you're retired in heaven. But as i said earlier, you can rest in peace knowing that your killer is gone, since he was too much of a wuss to take his punishment and do the time. Although your killer was a coward, it doesn't change the fact you were a good man at heart who cared for others, and spent almost 20 years protecting and serving his state and community, since it was what you were called to do. But as of now, may you rest in peace knowing your service is appreciated, and that your killer is serving his eternal punishment for his actions, while you're resting peacefully in the afterlife, and that your service to the state of Washington is forever cherished, along with the citizens appreciating your service while you were alive. Rest Well Mr. Radulescu

Trooper Tony, and I were in the Military together and he taught yso much about law enforcement. He was a wealth of knowledge and the funniest guy to be around. We spent time together at his parents house in New Jersey. Ate a delicious supper and returned to base. He will always be missed.

Dear Tony,
I think of you often and miss you dearly.
The roads, our community, and our neighborhood have never been the same.
We had snow AGAIN this year, and I really missed not seeing and sharing in you tearing up the snow on the four wheeler!
RIP my friend, and I hope there's snow up there from time to time!

Sa-ti fie tarina usoara.
Godspeed, Tony. You will be remembered in this state as someone who made the ultimate sacrifice. Respect.

John 5:28, 29 - "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.

Officer Radulescu was my close friend and Army Team member. I’m am so saddened to hear of his passing. He was a absolutely wonderful soul. He loved America and was so proud when he was accepted to the Washington State Patrol. I will always remember him.

I met Trooper Tony at a restaurant in Bremerton WASHINGTON when he saw my 63 Galaxie. His face lite up with this smile that was just amazing. I showed him my car and we talked for a good 30 minutes on cars and classics. Trooper Tony was just not a great Trooper but was a great person just to talk to. Very polite and was so positive in all his actions and what he loved and it was cars. When I heard about him being killed in the line of duty. We didn’t loose just a great WSP Trooper but we lost a great human being. I was so pissed that this happened to Tony it really changed my prospective towards the trust of people. Thanks Tony it was an honor meeting and talking to you. You are missed in our community so much and you will never be forgotten

I remember Tony coming out and taking my traffic accidents when I worked the road. He always showed up with a big grin on his face. He was one of those rare law enforcement officers who always had a great attitude, smile, and kind heart. Although I never had the pleasure of really getting to know him, I do feel a significant loss when I think back to my patrol days. I do remember him often, and I think I always will. God Bless Tony.

Trooper Radulescu, you are an inspiration. You've come to this country like myself in search of a better life and an opportunity to shine but you had achieved so much. You gained a lot of respect from your colleagues in the law enforcement community and the citizens of this state. For this I applaud you.
Know that your fellow countrymen from Romania and Moldova are proud of you. You showed that we can be just as good as them.
Sa te odihneasca bunul Dimnezeu in pace si sa-ti fie usoara tarina.

To the love of my life,

Not a day goes by that I do not think of you and miss you so much. I know your safe and in the presence of God's love. It does not make the pain of losing you any less.
You would have been so proud of the HERO's honor you received along with all of your fallen in Washington DC this year.
It was a fitting tribute to a man who gave to his country and then his community.
I miss your wonderful smile and the deep love we shared. I love you and you are always with me in my heart.

I love you Tony,
