Watching the ceremony today was extremely tough. I did not know Trooper Tony, but have spent more than 20 years of my life living in that community and understand how close knit it is. Your son's irish poem was perfect. RIP Sir.... you are a great human being.

Thank you Trooper Radulescu for protecting all of us in the line of duty. I was a student in one of the classes you gave a presentation for a few years ago, and I remember how nice and dedicated you were. Many of the kids in my class gained a new respect for law enforcement that day. God bless you and your family, and rest in peace.

I did not know you personally Trooper Tony, but you have given the ultimate sacrifice, in giving your life protecting the citizens of WA State, and your sacrifices protecting the people of our great nation with your military service. Your loss strikes deep in the heart of your family, fellow law enforcement officers, and ordinary citizens around the world. You have a more peaceful area to patrol now trooper, and I know you will continue the same professionalism that you had on earth. Today we will honor and say goodbye to a true American hero, Trooper Tony Radulescu. Tony, although we never ran into each other on the road, it was a pleasure to serve with you in the Army Reserve. I remember you as a true great soldier in every sense of the word! I know you inspired so many by who you were, what you stood for, and how you did your job. You truly realized the American Dream and made the most honorable and cherished opportunities this country has to offer your life's work. You will NEVER be forgotten! Rest easy now my brother, we'll take it from here...

To the family, friends, and fellow WSP Troopers of Trooper Tony,

My most sincere condolences and prayers go out to you.

In my 21 years of driving the roads of Kitsap County as an Access Driver for Kitsap Transit I know my paths crossed more than once with Trooper Tony.

It's a powerful testimony to life when someone such as Trooper Tony dedicate their entire lives to the service of others, making other lives that much better, ending in the ultimate sacrifice. (John 15:13)

I've lost several coworkers in my career, one dear friend and coworker just a couple years ago. Yes, life does go on but the sting of friends and family gone never completely leaves. This is a part of HOW we go on in life, with the heartfelt memories of our lives in the lives of those we don't get to see every day any more.

To Tony's fellow troopers, hold true to the commitment you've made to your fellow citizens and country. We NEED you just as we needed Trooper Tony. I know Tony's smile is on you and us all, always. Be safe out there and God bless you.

R.I.P. Trooper Tony.

In the name and glory of our Lord Jesus Christ, may the name of Tony
Radulescu never be forgotten on Earth as well as in Heaven.

Access Operator, Matt Thimgan
