Reflections for Trooper Tony Vian Radulescu

Trooper Tony,

I did not have the privilege to know you but you and I began our service as Law Enforcement officers around the same time, i was born and raised in Bremerton and Silverdale. Your death at the hands of a cowardly person is a tragedy, we will continue on and in your name and honor you with dedicated service. RIP brother.

Though I never knew him, he was part of my Law Enforcement family and I will mourn this deep loss the rest of my life. My heart aches with all the losses we have suffered, and continue to suffer, through the years. God is our only peace through such incidents. May family & friends feel the presence of the "God of all comfort" as they endure the distressing days ahead. I join you in your agonizing grief & remember you in my prayers.

Another senseless tragedy
Another day of grief,
Another day of praying
To help us find relief.

Relief from bitter anguish
Relief from rage so great,
Relief from lenient justice
Which continues to seal our fate.

Relief from heartache’s torment
As we continue on,
Oh, the awesome loss of brotherhood
Now that you are gone.

Though our hearts are deeply broken
And our tears forever flow,
There’s a comforting assurance
That now with God you go.

We know that you are welcome
Now at Heaven’s gate,
While meeting brothers & sisters
Who also met such fate.

The family of Law Enforcement
Knows no distance here or there,
And we recall in comfort
You await us there.

Trooper Tony,
I am so thankful that on Easter 2009 you accepted Jesus Christ as your presonal Savior and because you believe
Christ paid the penalty for your sin, you are now safe in
Heaven with Him for all eternity. This is what matters MOST
to me! God will reward you for your wonderful service at
His judgment seat. Well done, Tony. God bless everyone
you loved and everyone who loved you.

Thank you Trooper Radulescu for protecting all of us in the line of duty. I was a student in one of the classes you gave a presentation for a few years ago, and I remember how nice and dedicated you were. Many of the kids in my class gained a new respect for law enforcement that day. God bless you and your family, and rest in peace.

Today we will honor and say goodbye to a true American hero, Trooper Tony Radulescu. Tony, although we never ran into each other on the road, it was a pleasure to serve with you in the Army Reserve. I remember you as a true great soldier in every sense of the word! I know you inspired so many by who you were, what you stood for, and how you did your job. You truly realized the American Dream and made the most honorable and cherished opportunities this country has to offer your life's work. You will NEVER be forgotten! I am heart broken to hear of the loss of another fine officer. As the wife of a law enforcement officer myself, I know the close knit family that supports each other. Please know that Tony is honored in memory. My prayers for those who go on without him. My trust is that Tony is indeed in a better place, through Christ our Lord.
