A piece of my heart is with you Brian. I have been choking back tears ever since my husband received the call within hours of the crash. He was sitting in the car next to me while our young children were in the back seat. I have been thinking about your wife. I wish I knew her name. I would like to speak with her. And tell her it's OK....to feel and not to feel. To cry and not to cry. To scream and not to scream. My thoughts, prayers and condolences go out to your family, friends, The Illinois State Police Family and every other Law Enforcement Agency out there. For your family: I wish them courage and strength through this sorrowful time. For your friends: May they remember you always. For every Trooper and Officer: May you leave for work and come home safely each and every day. God Bless!
