I got the opportunity to meet Brian while he was a cadet at the academy. It didnt take long to figure out what a great guy he was, needless to say I was excited when I found out that he would be assigned to District 9. I had the pleasure of being his primary FTO. Brian was eager to learn and it was obvious putting on our uniform made him very proud. Brian fit in instantly when I introduced him to the guys on day shift at lunch. He knew how to take a joke and wasnt shy in giving it back to the guys even though it was his first day on the job. At lunch he was affectionately given the nickname of "Billy" for some reason and it stuck. God bless you Brian and your family....I'll get your arrowstick one last time!!

A very special prayer is being said tonight for Brian's family. I know exactly what you are going through, as I was there in June of '06 with the lose of my son. You can be very proud of him and know he was doing something he loved. I also know that does not ease the pain and lose right now, but it will eventually help. Trooper McMillen's family has my very deepest sympathy.
