To the wife and parents of Trooper McMillen I offer my most sincere condolences.

Any loss of life is painful...and when one is so young..and just beginning to live...it points to that fact even more.

I don't understand those...who get into cars...not caring...that they are intoxicated..unfit to drive...and then...not only risk...their own lives...but cause an innocent life...to be lost...and all the resulting pain...that then changes...another family's life...forever.

I pray that God will grace all these families...with the courage...to cope with their losses...that of this fine Trooper...and then to face the resulting consequences...that will follow...for those...whose fault this was...as they...are held responsible...for what happened...that ultimately will impact...their families too.

May God's perpetual light shine upon the soul of Trooper Brian McMillen...and may he rest in His eternal peace...for having made the ultimate sacrifice...in protecting and serving his community.

May God bless your family...at this most difficult...and sad time...you will not be forgotten.

With my deepest sympathy,

Anita L. Culosi
sister of NYS Tpr. Salvatore J. Embarrato eow 7/6/61

Its funny, when u come onto this job they say you become part of a huge family.. When incidents like this happen u begin to realize how true it is..The midnight men and women I believe have a stronger relationship than just the average person. Brian was welcomed with open arms to enter this unique relationship and he belonged there. We will miss seeing you on the road making stop after stop waiting to hit the mother load.. Brian you will be missed by all and thought of often.. We will do everything possible to take care of your wife and family so no need to worry..Good night, good bye, and 10-42...
