We once again have lost a part of the brotherhood of law enforcement. These times are difficult and the family and department has a long road of recovery ahead of them. The staff of Cops Evangelist Ministries would like you to know that we are and will continue to pray for you in this time of sorrow. Remember that God will not give you more then you can handle. Philippians 4:13 says…I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me.

We are so sorry to here about your tragic loss of a loved one in law enforcement. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you in support. As we personally know, sometimes there is little comfort that comes from words. Keep focused as you can on the memories and joyous times for these things may bring you comfort. Rely heavily on family, friends, and other law enforcement. Honor your fallen loved one, for their sacrifice will not be forgotten.

On behalf of the Spring Twp. police department we would like to offer our prayers to the family and co-workers of officer Wertz. I have had the privelage of meeting numerous officers with the Reading police department and know the kind of dedication and devotion the bring to the job. We are saddened to see a hero taken in such a cowardly fashion and pray that God will help all of us with healing.

Rest in Peace Brother.... We will carry on the fight!!!!!
