William McQuerry

Patrolman William McQuerry was shot and killed by one of two murder suspects he was attempting to arrest. Both suspects were captured.

Patrolman McQuerry's killer was convicted of his murder and sentenced to life in the Kentucky Penitentiary at Frankfort. He was shot and killed while trying to escape August 20th, 1902.

Patrolman McQuerry had served with the Covington Police Department for four years.
