I went to high school with Bill at Mt Pleasant H.S. Bill encouraged me to be a cop and join Oakland PD. Instead I joined San Jose PD and had a great career. I will never forget Bill. He was a great friend. I visited the Sacramento Peace Officer Memorial last week and saw Bill's name.
I will always remember Bill as a great man with a powerful friendly smile! What a sad loss. You will never be forgotten.
