Patrolman Guischard was killed in an automobile accident while responding to a call.
He was survived by his wife and daughter.
Driving home from Atlantic City today I read the dedication on the Highway to Officer Guischard. As a father to an officer myself, my heart was touched by the dedication. My prayers go out to the family of Officer Guischard. Rest in peace crime-fighter and hero. You're greatest reward will be waiting in heaven.
