Officer Angel Cordero-Roman was killed when a home-made bomb exploded as he attempted to disarm it in the police lab.

Officer Cordero-Roman had previously served with the United States Army with the 65th infantry regiment during World War II . He is survived by his wife and son.

We all proud of our officers. I'm a bomb tech. with the state police. About two weeks to this date i was given a lecture and mention the incident where Cordero-Roman loose his life. We honor and respect those who gave their lives in the line of duty.
