Officer Christie suffered a fatal heart attack while carrying a woman who had attempted suicide into Frankford Hospital.

Officer Christie had served with the agency for 17 years. He was survived by his wife and three children.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
