Charles William Bound

Sergeant Charles Bound was shot and killed on an Erie Railroad freight train near East 93rd Street in Cleveland, Ohio.

He was attempting to remove the two men from the train when one of them opened fire on him, shooting him in the head. The two men fled the scene but were arrested and charged with Sergeant Bound's murder.

Sergeant Bound was a U.S. Army veteran. He was survived by his wife and three children.
