Officer Isaac Hicks was accidentally shot and killed when his revolver fell from its holster as he worked in livery stable. The weapon discharged and struck him in the head, killing him.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
