Marshall Gregory:

Although it has been 79 years ago that your life was taken in the line of duty, your sacrifice is not forgotten. Rest in Peace. Your valor is still remembered. My youngest son, our beloved Larry Lasater of the Pittsburg, CA Police Department, was shot 79 years to the day after you were murdered as he pursued two bank robbers on a foot pursuit. I hope you welcomed this young brother in blue to the gates of heaven.
