Dear Mr. Danny,

When I was a mere infant you and your wife allowed my mother, sister, and I into your home. Though I only know you through stories, I know you were a great man. My parents talk about you often, tears stinging their cheeks. Your son is my age now, and he’s grown up to look just like you. I think you’d be proud. My stepdad misses you the most, and cannot talk about you much. He was with you til the end, as your friend and sadly paul bearer. Never had he been as sad as that day. You were a true hero, just trying to make the world a little safer. I hope Heaven is well and that you can see your family well.
