Captain Conant was survived by his wife and two children.

I was researching family history, and found Captain Conant in the process. My Great-Great-Grandmother, whom I knew and remember very well, was Capt. Conant's sister.
I am moved and grateful to both learn of his service, and to see him honored in this way.
May you rest in peace Uncle George, my search is further witness that you will not be forgotten.
