Bob, my memory of you was rekindled today when a dear friend sent me an old newspaper article sent to her by a family member about an arrest you made on the Fly Creek Valley Road that was saved for many years and thought maybe I would like to save it too. This article prompted me to search the Internet about you and found many sites with your name along with many other fallen officers. Yes, as everyone has said here, your legacy continues to live on through the Internet now of which you never were a part of during your life time.

Our life as kids will always be remembered during our summer school vacations from playing touch football, to checking muskrat traps along those cold river banks and building a lean-to fort in the woods and playing the accordion which your mom took over as you really never cared for it - :)). I wish you were still with us, retired and enjoying your love of the outdoors. I miss you.
