Officer Claude O Rupe was my great-grandfather. He died after my grandmother was born and because they called her 'Billie' people thought Officer Rupe was survived by wife and son.

It is an honor to know that my great-grandfather served to protect the nations capital. It also cool to know he was a motorcycle officer.

Thank you all who have honored my great-grandfather by their kind comments and commitment to honor those who have fallen.
