This inmate is responsible for killing a 26-year veteran police officer who was protecting the citizens of Massachusetts on the night he was killed. On November 5, 2005, inmate #W90156 chose to drink and drive. The fact that he was a volunteer firefighter leaves absolutely no doubt that he was aware of the likely consequences of such dangerous behavior. Unfortunately, Lt. Robert Cabral became the victim of inmate #W90156 deadly decision when his patrol car was struck head-on. Lt. Cabral left behind two loving children and three siblings who will never again have the opportunity to see him, talk to him, or touch him. A sentence of only 5 to 7 years is much too short for killing any person, let alone a police officer.
