There are never words that can reflect the loss in this world of a person like you. Over the years i have lost friends in the line of Duty and they are never out of my mind. If the measure of a man is reflective of the words spoken at his final good bye , then you must have been larger than life .You have touched so many with your sacarafice and your dedication in protecting the community will never be forgotten. You have completed your tour of duty here on earth and your now patroling the golden streets of heaven. God bless you and your family and friends, i pray for their peace in the knowlage that your still protecting them and us from above.

Eric,

You were an inspiration as a public servant and as a human to officers, family, friends, and citizens. I am personally a better officer thanks to the times you shared your experience and expertise. I will forever miss seeing your huge boots propped up on the briefing table with your long arms behind your head and your goofy smile on your face sharing your booming laugh.

You shared knowledge, honesty, sincerity, and humor with everyone you met. Each and every one of us is a better person having known you. Not only has your untimely death left a painful emptiness in our community, but in the world as a whole. I seems God needed his very best angel before we were ready to let you go. You will never be forgotten, and you are so very loved. We miss you Eric, rest in peace dear friend.

Rest in Peace, Eric.

“Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
