Reflections for Police Officer Timothy Q. Brenton

Thank you for your service. God bless you and your family.

Officer Brenton I want to say thank you for your service, and for the ultimate sacrifice you and your family have made. I have the utmost respect for those of you who put your lives on the line, for us. I don't think police officers get enough recognition, and it's sad that it takes something like this to bring it about.

We met officer Brenton and his family 3 years ago when his family signed his son up for soccer. My husband and I have coached his son for the past 3 years. They are a wonderful couple who are dedicated to their kids and family. Officer Brenton was a quiet dad who rooted his son on during the games and encouraged him to try harder during practice. This was a shock and a tragedy to hear this during the news. I can't believe that this could happen to someone who enjoyed his job and took great care of his family. He will be dearly missed, and our thoughts and prayers are with his family. We are dearly sorry to the other patrol officer who had to go through something this tragic. I am saddened and upset that someone could go to this extreme on officers just doing their job.
You will be dearly missed, our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, officers, and friends.
Your soccer family and friends.

My condolences to the family of Officer Brenton, to Officer Sweeney, members of the Seattle Police Department and the LaConner Police Department. We now live in such a violent world that it takes a very brave person to be a police officer. Officer Brenton, you will never be forgotten and may your children grow up remembering how well you served your community. I am also praying for Officer Sweeney to have a full recovery and know that her law enforcemnt family stands by her during this traumatic time. May your soul be at peace with God.

Brother, you will not be forgotten! I pray for you, your family and your partners. I visited the memorial at 29th and Yesler and was blown away by the outpouring of support by the community. Your command staff and partners were there standing watch in the middle of the night, with an indescribable look on their faces and in their eyes. God bless!!!

We will not rest until the devils that did this are found and brought to justice! Lord help us with this mission.

This is such an awful loss. I worked as a dispatcher for 12 years, and there was nothing that scared me more than the thought of losing an officer/firefighter. My heart aches for Officer Brenton's wife and children as well as all the officers of the Seattle PD.
