Reflections for Trooper Michael Warren Haynes

I am so saddened to hear this, My deepest sympathy goes out to Trooper Hayne's family and brothers in blue. This is such a tragic thing brought about by someones careless actions and decision to drink and drive. God bless my friend I will pray for your family. I know that they are feeling deep saddness now, but they may remember that you have given the ultimate sacrifice for your fellow man kind. I hope that your family knows what a hero you are. Rest in peace brother.

To Trooper Mike Haynes, to all family members and friends who call him beloved, and to his law enforcement family:

I was so sorry to learn of Mike's death and extend my sincerest condolences on the grievous loss you have suffered. Words are insufficient to describe the sadness I feel for the Haynes family. May you find comfort in your faith and the support of the law enforcement community.

There are many police survivors who share this same journey with you, and that community will be there to support you. Mike's memory will be forever honored and revered.

This reflection is sent with the utmost respect for the distinquished service Mike gave to his community and the citizens of Montana and for the supreme sacrifice he and his family made on March 27, 2009.

Mike was my Sister's son. I am blown away that this wonderful young man did a tour of cuty in Iraq, bullets wizzing by, and came home safe and sound. One night, ending his shift, to be hit head on by a wrong way driver. He was such a fighter this did not take his life. With a durg induced coma to keep him still, he wanted to be with family there with him, and they made them leave the room so he could heal. A stupid blood clot and we have to wait for heaven to visit again. He was a wonderful loving man to his wife, and children . . . having just visited with them at a family wedding this summer. Mike's humor and love of God caused you to want to spend time with him, and enjoy his company. Jesus, come quickly with that last final trumpet blast so we can all be together again forever, and ever, and ever
