Once again my heart bleeds for the loss of another Philadelphia Police Officer. I was born and raised in the city of Philadelphia, and was raised to respect Police Officers...where has all that respect gone? There doesn't seem to be respect for life at all anymore. In a year and half my son plans to enter the Philadelphia Police Academy..he has wanted to be a Philadelphia Police Officer since he was very young. His desire to follow this as his career grows stronger and stronger each time an Officer is killed in this city. He wants to help and make a difference. I am so PROUD of him for that, but also scared for him, but it is his decision.

I just want to say to all Law Enforcement Officers out there that there are still many who deeply appreciate the heroes that you are.

To Philadelphia Police Officer Pawlowski's family...My deepest sympathy to all of you. You will always remain in my prayers. RIP Officer Pawlowski
