Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Anne Marie Jackson

I READ SOME ACCOUNTS OF THE INCIDENT PRIOR TO COMING HERE AND SAW THAT DEPUTY JACKSON WAS LIVING UP TO THE ULITMATE OATH TO BE A PUBLIC SERVANT. SHE RESPONDED TO A SITUATION SHE HAD RESPONDED TO BEFORE AND HAD TAKEN A PERSONAL INTEREST IN TRYING TO RESOLVE IT AND IT COST HER HER LIFE TRYING TO ASSIST THIS FAMILY. WHILE NONE OF WANTS TO PERISH DOING THIS JOB, WE KNOW THAT WHEN WE DO OUR JOBS TO THE FULLEST, THAT MAY UNFORTUNATELY BE THE COST. I PERSONALLY SALUTE YOU AND KNOW YOU ARE A HERO TO YOUR COMMUNITY, YOUR AGENCY AND LAW ENFORCEMENT WORLD WIDE.

REST IN PEACE AND MAY THE LORD KEEP WATCHING OVER YOUR FAMILY AND AGENCY

MT DEPUTY SHERIFF

I'm still in shock over hearing about this. You, along with the others who fell to this monster, will never be forgotten by the many communities who saw you daily.

Rest well, Deputy Jackson. Know that those who you left behind will carry on what you wanted to do for so long, and know that you will never be forgotten.

The law enforcement community in Pierce County mourns your passing.

To Deputy Sheriff Anne Jackson's family, My heart goes out to you. I lost my brother a little over a year ago, he too was a deputy sheriff. When I heard the news yesterday it was like re living my brother's tragic death. You all have a long road of healing ahead. This is a going to be a very emotional time for you. It is not how they died it is how they lived their lives that we need to remember. It was an ultimate sacrifice that they paid to protect our families. I pray for you, and am deeply sorry for your loss. God bless you!
