After 34 plus years in law enforcement I still cannot accept the loss of an officer as "part of the job". It's sad thatDeputy Jackson's life was cut short when she had so much to offer... my prayers are with her family and my hope is that her sacrifice will never be forgotten.

I just want to send out my heart felt condolences to the friends and family of this truly brave woman. It takes someone very strong to put their life on the line every day, and someone even stronger than that to support that decision of a loved one. It's never easy to lose someone you love and care about, but it's all the more difficult to have that person taken brutally from you.
To the family and friends of this courageous individual, you are in my family's hearts and prayers. We deeply grieve your loss.

Rest in peace my fallen sister...
God will grace you with his love and you will now patrol the golden streets of heaven. Reading how you were so helpful towards the same man who took your life is heart breaking. It just shows how much of an Angel you truly are.
Rest in peace and watch over all of us....
And my deepest sympathy goes out to your family and co-workers. I myself know what it feels like to lose someone because i lost two friends in law enforcement in two years.
