I keep waiting to see you when I come in ..you pressed up to a computer screen doing odd jobs for Sgt. Doolittle and telling me on how bad you want to get out there...
Always smiling..always positive, and showing an old dog like me how to use this computer...
You are missed.

Tony,
As part of our CISM team I knew in my heart that this day was nearing although I hoped and prayed I would never have to see it. I don't want to ever get better at this. When I got that call Monday morning my heart just sank. I am very fortunate to have so many great memories of you from having you as an OIT, to your brilliant smile, to seeing you in the copy room at the station and chatting, to your dedication to the community. You were always so full of questions and they were always good ones! You were on light duty for a lot of your young career and even then you were always eager to help out and to learn new things. I never heard you complain, you had such a burning desire to return to the streets. Perhaps the most vivid and recent of my memories was your oral board for the Downtown Squad. It was ALWAYS very evident that you were one of kind and had a heart of gold. I visited your memorial and we ran into a civilian man who was there to pay his respects. His story said a thousand words that I could never put to paper. He said that you had contacted his brother just two days before your death on a traffic stop that you conducted and his brother told him that you were the most respectful and kind officer that he had ever encountered. I have never heard anyone utter an unkind word toward you Tony and I am convinced that is because there are none to be said. You are a true hero my brother and those of us left behind will carry on your memory. You will NEVER be forgotten as you will live on in each and every one of our hearts. I admire you as you truly walked the walk. I now take comfort that you are in Gpd's very capable and large hands!
