Tom,
I started on the Maywood P.D. a year after you and I found comfort as a new officer when I met you. You had care and wisdom that you shared with me as a rookie. You always had time to stop what you where doing to see how others where doing around you. That was typical of who you where. Very thoughtful and concerned. I only wished that I had more time to get to know you.
Brother,
YOU WILL BE MISSED.
Rest in peace,
Your brother in Blue.

I pray for God to give the family and coworkers of Officer Wood peace. I feel so much anger at the news of how he was taken from this world. It is wrong. It is disrespectful. It is senseless, and cowardly. I pray that God's justice fall swiftly on those who committed this cowardly act. God bless those who are touched by this tragedy.
