Blake #591, we miss you man! God Bless your family......

Our brother has been taken and gently laid to rest;
Fate seems so cruel at times to only take the best.
Our brother lives forever if only in our minds;
He'll never be forgotten nor ever left behind.
He'll stand before us always as if to guide our way;
Through all our tasks and duties awaiting us each day.
Our brother has been taken and though we wonder why;
We'll still perform our duties as days then weeks go by.
We'll travel where fate leads, through days of dark or fair;
Until we stand for Roll Call beside our brother there!

I remember Blake from years ago growing up in Lithia. Blake was an outstanding ball player, and in school was so full of life and friends. The world has lost not only an exceptional Officer, but an exceptional person.
My prayers go out to your family and co-workers.

It was an honor to serve with Blake. He was not only an excellent deputy, he was my friend. Blake was everything a Law Enforcement Officer should be. He was compassionate, friendly, cocky, hardheaded, intelligent, etc.
He loved his little girls, Haven 3 yoa, and Jewell 18 months. They were his world. He loved his fiance, Dawn, and talked about her like she was his best friend. His mother and father were his friends and he had that special relationship with his father that all sons should have.
Blake left this earth doing what he loved best. He will be missed by all his friends and co-workers. Blake was a true hero. Connie and I will miss him and his cocky sense of humor. Please keep Blake and his family in your prayers. We have truly lost one of our finest.

When i think of blake i always think of a "hello" or a "how ya doing". Thats the way blake was. He was a genuinely good person in and out of the uniform. he always took the time to say hi to you no matter how busy he was. he cared so much for this agency and the people he worked with and the people of this county who employed him. Blake was one of the finest of the finest. He joined the Special Emergency Response Team because he knew that it took the best of the best to get the job done. He knew it took someone who had heart and courage. Blake wore his badge with honor. He loved his fellow officers and he loved his children.

While we are now mourning, i know in my heart that God is now smiling from ear to ear because he has a new angel at his side. An angel that will do what ever it takes when ever he is called upon, just like he did here on earth.

I know now that you are safe Blake. I know that you will no longer indure anymore pain or suffering no matter how much or how little.

You are now with our maker. May you forever rest in peace.

God speed Blake. We love you.
