Thats one thing that is scaring about law enforcement anything can happen. But you'll die from doing something you love and Sheriff Dennis Merwin Shuck did that. Plus being a motormen in the police department is scary and risky but Sheriff Dennis Merwin Shuck took that risk to protect his community. Now he looks over your community still protecting it by his love. I will think of him as hero and as a fearless Sheriff.

A great ambassador of the uniform in every sense of the word!!!! I can't say enough how much I respect this man. Many in the community feared him because of his relentless traffic patrolling, but he kept us all safer. Rest easy, Dennis, you are truly missed

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 7th anniversary year of your death. I am priviliged to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

Dennis,

It's hard to believe it's been five years. Thanks for yelling at that old man in the red truck who almost hit me on that traffic stop. You know the one I'm talking about. You were watching my back and I appreciated that.
