Reflections for Constable Darius Quimby

ALPHA TO OMAGA
BEGAN TO END, FELLOW BROTHER TIMES HAS CHANGED AND YOU ARE STILL IN MANY HEARTS AND MINDS. WHEN YOUR COUNTY WAS NEW AND LAWS WAS BEING MADE YOU WAS THERE. NOW A NEW BREED IS HERE TO PICK UP WHERE YOU LEFT OFF. BEGIN THE FIRST YOURSELF, WATCH OVER THE FIRST TO PICK UP. MAY YOU BE IN THE ARMS OF THE LORD, HOLDING THE THICKEST END OF THE THIN BLUE LINE, THAT STARTED WITH YOU. NOW REST MY DEAR OLD GRAET GRAET BROTHER.

HERO'S NEVER DIE; THEY JUST TAKE ON A NEW ASSIGNMENT!

MATTHEW 5:9
"Blessed are the peacemakers; for they shall be called the children of God"

Constabel Darius Quimby, you shall never be forgotten. I have worn a Memory bracelet for "Isaac Smith" EOW 05/17/1792. For some time he was listed as the first Officer killed in the line of duty. I have ordered a new one with your name. I feel comfort knowing that you are with God and watching the rest of us here on earth.

God Bless!

Continue to rest in peace Constable Quimby. So many things have changed in this country since you were taken away, but the job remains the same. We're still down here bringing those to justice who would break the law. God bless you. You will never be forgotten.

After some research and contacting the ODMP, I learned that you were the first known law enforcement officer killed in the line of duty. God rest your soul, you died a hero and will always be one. It is an honor to "meet you" here on this, your memorial page. Thank you for your service and sacrifice. You will never be forgotten!
