Rest in Peace, Officer Sachatello. Your sacrifice is not forgotten.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the ninth anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never dimishes respect, and your memory will always be honored and revered. I pray for the solace of all those who love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. I hold your family in my heart's embrace today.
Rest In Peace

I want to thank you. You were the first officer I had ever met. I couldn't have been older than 10 or 11 the last time I saw you, but I still remember nonetheless. You were a great example of what an officer should be. In fact, I have you to thank for my enthusiasm as I pursue my own career in law enforcement. I think about you often, and I wish I had a chance to tell you how much of a difference you've made in my life. For being an officer who could reach out to those you serve, and for being a role model that could inspire someone to achieve great things, I thank you.

Forgive me for missing the anniversary of your E.O.W., but I felt as though I could not continue to read about so many tragedies. I now realize the visit each day to leave a word of encouragement and hope to the loved ones of others, helps me to remember that I am not alone with my pain and heartbreak. So may I say to your friends and loved ones that my thoughts and prayers are with them now and always. Continue to keep watch over them and those still out on patrol and may they know you will never be forgotten.

miss you always. Lisa and Rich are off to the cemetery, it's 2030. AJ and Joe are playing Star Wars. It's been a tough year for her, AJ is starting to ask more questions about you and the accident. Can't believe it's been 6 years.

You have been gone for 6 years, but in your short life you have inspired many
to make a difference. We thank you and all l.e.o.s who make a tremendous
sacrifice to make their world a better place, putting others above themselves
and being proud of the job they do, day after day after day without the recognition and appreciation they deserve. Thank you doesn't suffice.

Joe, my dear friend I'll never forget the time we first met.
I'll never forget when we were out and the first you introduced me to Lisa. Your engagement party, how you and I just happened to show up at Tony D's when Lisa was out with her girlfriends, your wedding, going to your graduation, and most of all your never ending friendship.I keep your graduation picture with you, Lisa, Rich and myself on the table in my living room. You will always be thought of, remembered, missed, and loved.
