Inspector William Moher succumbed to a gunshot wound sustained the previous day during a shootout with a robbery suspect. The suspect was also shot and killed.

Inspector Moher had served with the agency for 23 years.

ODMP is participating in the CrowdRise Giving Tower Holiday Challenge, an annual fundraising competition that runs from November 24th through January 7th and raises millions of dollars for charity.
