Border Patrol Agent Sullivan was killed when the Ford Bronco he was driving overturned and tumbled down an 1,100 foot cliff in San Diego County, California. Agent Sullivan was transporting seven suspected illegal immigrants at the time of the crash. Three of the suspected illegal immigrants were killed and the other four were injured.

Agent Sullivan had been with the Border Patrol for 18 months. He is survived by his fiancée and parents.

Another year has passed but not without remembrance. I see your spirit and enthusiasm in every young man an woman I meet who recently pinned on the badge. I was there that fateful day on the moutain, at your side. I did not want to leave the scene and in some ways I never did. I will never forget the sacrifice you made serving this country and continue to pray for the family and friends you left behind. Rest in peace brother.
