John 5:28, 29 - "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". May your family and fellow law enforcement brothers and sisters find hope and redemption in your sacrifice, that you gave up your life in the noble duty of service to others. May your memory live strong through the loving and honorable words and remembrances, and continued good works. Most of all, may you Rest in Peace, assured that your unborn child, whose face was yet unseen by your loving eyes, and whose own eyes could not have known his father's gentle gaze, will still be connected to you in spirit, vicariously through a legacy of truth revealed by all who speak of knowing the hero you were, will forever be... for selflessly dedicating your life to making a beautiful difference in the world.

On behalf of my family, I extend our sincerest condolences on the grievous loss you suffered when Allen was killed.

To the Jacobs family, fellow officers, and all who call Allen beloved, my heart goes out to all of you and may you find comfort in your loved ones and your strength in your faith. When my son was killed, the entire law enforcement community in our area embraced us in a circle of love and support, and I know you will receive the same support. It makes the unbearable less torturous, and I pray for your solace.

This reflection is sent with the utmost respect for the dedicated service Officer Jacobs gave to his community and the citizens of South Carolina , and for the supreme sacrifice he and his family made on March 18, 2016.

Offer Jacobs, while I did not personally know you I want to thank you for being who you where and having the great impact on earth that you did! Thanks for your service, and to you family, friends, co workers and others hurting with your loss. I ask that God give them peace, love, courage, hope, wisdom strength and support to get through the days, weeks, mounts, and years ahead with you! You truly gave everything your all and for that I thank you! I draw a great deal of comfort from knowing the kind of person you where and I hope others do as well! Even though your service on earth is done your impact on this life will last forever! Rest easy my friend and know that while you are gone you will never be forgotten! Watch over your family and brothers and sisters in blue.
Take care.
