Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Trooper James Michael Sauter

May you rest in peace. You have given the ultimate sacrifice for your fellow man. No can replace you on earth, but you will now be forgotten by the people you served with and the people you served.
Respectfully with sympathy

Jim, it was an honor serving with you ! I know you are looking down on us with a smile from the gym in the sky ! You made a difference, and made a positive impact on the people around you! I was always impressed with your work ethic, your love for your family, and of course how immaculate your uniform and car were every single day! No one used more armor all on the tires !! I was blessed to be a part of your life while we worked together ! Rest in Peace, you will be missed !

For Trooper James Sauter:

The trooper-on-patrol performs and invaluable service to the motoring public while on one of the most dangerous battlefields - a U.S. highway. No matter the precaution taken, standing or stopped along the main-traveled portion of the roadway places anyone there only a few feet from the risk of violent injury and death.
We regret that our brother James would be the next casualty while protecting the public on our nation's thoroughfares.
We pray for James' family, friends, co-workers and all who care about him. May they be ready to reach out to one another in the days ahead.

Cpl. Ralph D. Fiorenza (Ret.)
Pennsylvania State Police

I have know Jimmy since he was just a boy with his dad at our Radio Control Flying Field. He was the most respectful nice young man I have ever met. He was a determined individual, I realized when he was in high school that he was even then the man that I had hoped to be all my life. His powerful hand shake, genuine smile and unconditional friendship will be missed forever!
