Surreal - You shared some of the same pavement as people close to me. Chief, you lived your life for those you served. Without question this world will not be a better place without you manning your helm.

Our prayers and condolences go out to the family, friends and his department. We are keeping the injured officers in our prayers too.
My son had a recent brush with disaster during a drug raid, had it not been for his armor his injuries would have been severe. As a parent of a law enforcement officer I feel for all doing the job in these crazy times.

Godspeed Brother.
