Trooper... Your shift is over,End of Watch is here. You have no idea how we'll miss you dear. Every day will seem off balance, the voices just not right... there's too much silence from your Unit tonight. And so we keep on going, telling each other we're OK, but the holes in our hearts get bigger with every passing day. It's End of Watch now Trooper, we bow our heads and pray... please do not forget us, we need you more each day. Rest in Peace, Brother,Rest in Peace.....

During a trip through the Ocala National Forest last fall I had two flats. The first to the site of the flats were the Florida Highway Patrol. They were so kind to help and I will never forget how they came to the rescue of a disabled woman(myself) and my friend (also female). To his wife, please know that there are so many people out there who respect your husband not just for protecting the people of this state but for the kindness all troopers show the people who travel the highways of Florida. God bless you and your family as you go through this great loss and may your children know what good people Florida State Troopers are, and please let them know the respect and gratitude their father so rightfully deserves. May you take comfort and strength in the Lord's love and caring during this time of grief.

The Lord is my sheperd I shall not want. He maketh me lie down in green pastures, he restoreth my soul.He leadeth me beside the still waters.Yea thou I walk through the valley in the shadow of death I will fear no evil for thou are with me thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Family be comforted.
