Reflections for Sergeant Joseph Anthony Bergeron

My family and I would like to let you know we are truly sorry for your tremendous loss. He sounded like a very dedicated police officer and all around great person. We know what it is like to lose someone suddenly, without warning. It is so very hard. But God and family and friends are who you need to lean on. Time is also what it takes.May the days, months and years ahead of you be filled with wonderful memories. It will take lots of time,so be easy on yourselves. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. God bless.

Looking at this Memorial is one of the few things in life for me that gets more difficult the more I look at it. Another sad and senseless murder of an American hero, that like all of us, just wanted to make the streets a safer place to walk for everyone, even the THUGS that are responsible. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, co-workers, and the whole law enforcement community. Rest in Peace my brother...
