I have lost a friend, co-worker, and supervisor...I watched Chad grow up in Steinhatchee, I served with his father on the Steinhatchee Fire Department, and later worked with Chad at Dixie County EMS, after returning to the Dixie County Sheriff's Office in 2003, Chad became my Captain...He also reccomended me for my promotion to Sergeant...Our children attended Karate Class together, and Chad and I were on the competetion team. I MISS YOU CAPT!

May God bless and be with your family, co-workers and friends at this very difficult time.

My heart is heavy with the loss of so many officers in so short a time. May God watch over us all and protect us as we risk our lives for our fellow citizens. St Michael protect us.

In gratitude for your heroic service and in grief at your loss. Your family is being lifted in prayer. Only belief in Romans 8:28 can carry us through a time like this. You are joining other great LEOs in Heaven, and for that we rejoice in the midst of our great sorrow. RIP, another hero.
