A Moment of Grace
Lord,Grant me a moment of grace was the police officers last request. As his angel sat beside the officer,She closed
her eyes and prayed with him too. Lord, Let this officer
draw his last breath with the knowledge that he lived his
life serving and protecting each one of your precious children, and that the things he felt could have been done a different way,That your will was done. A child of yours served us all. When the prayer was over the angel awaken the police officer. she looked at the police officers uniform all tattered and torn. His badge was as though it was new not a scratch on it. For all these years he wore it
close to his heart, and prayed daily that he would do his best. Dear police officer,It's time to go.Our Father in heaven is waiting for you. The officer shook his head,"NO",
My shift has just begun, and who will take my place at such
short notice? She touched his face as a tear fell softly onto her hand. he said to the angel "If, I am dead why wasn't there any pain or suffering? Because, My child you have served and protected so many without any hesistation.
You have been spared all the heartache, pain, and sadness
that you have seen in this life while doing your job. The
police officer shed another tear and said "Thank you,and
I loved my job. Please let everyone know that a police officer never dies in vain. I gave my life like any other police officer has done yesterday, And the ones who may do the same today, and the police officers of tomorrow"

MAY GOD BLESS THEM ALL
