After watching the news and reading most of these reflections, I thank my Lord for blessing this country with Randy Simmons. The Lord had a plan for this man and Randy Simmons fulfilled that plan amd now he is in the presence of his Lord and Saviour. My prayers are with the family who knows who to turn to in time of grief and the L.A.P.D.

Rest now my Brother
For your work here is now done
Don't worry my Brother
We will finish what you begun

Walk proud through the pearly gates
And go be with GOD
For you now have a place of honor
Where the angels trod

Blessed are the peace keepers, for they shall be called the sons of GOD.

There is no greater love than this: That a man lay down his life for his friends.

To Officer Simmons family, team and department you all are in our prayers and thoughts. Stay strong and remember that Randy is looking over you now from a far better place. To his team, you were there for our team five years ago and we are there for you now.

When a police officer is killed, it is not a city that loses an officer - it is an entire nation.

Rest with the Lord.

Minister Randy was an admirable man and servant of God. He loved the children that he ministered to and was faithful to his calling.

I always respected and admired his professionalism and skill as a law enforcement officer, as well as his kindness and passion for the youth outreach ministry. He worked tirelessly to share the Gospel, to win others to Christ, and to exemplify godly character.

He will be sincerely missed. There is no way to describe his contribution to our city and the kingdom of God.

God bless the Simmons' family. You are all in my prayers.
