Officer Thebeau, thank you for keeping my family safe in Corpus Christi while I worked my beat in Kingsville. Now you've been tasked with guarding another beat; Heaven. From speaking with some of your comrades I know you will do it with integrity, loyalty, and sheer professionalism. Your brothers at CCPD will keep your beat safe from now on brother. Rest in peace.

Thank you for your service. You have paid the ultimate price for your heorism. Words cannot express how thankful your community is that you were there to help protect them. You are truly an angel.

I know how hard it is on your family to go through this tough time. I lost my cousin April 3, 2007. He was a Campbell County Sherrif's Deputy, Jason Saunders. He was also killed in the line of duty. It is still hard on all of us. But it makes it easier knowing that he died a hero, just as you did.

You have a special place in heaven, right along side of all of the other angels. Thank you again for your service!

As I read all these reflections of my friend and fellow brother Officer Matt "T-bo" Thebeau, I have tears in my eyes. It's so hard to drive by the site of the crash and not want to scream! I will always remember on the last day of being your FTO, you walked up to me and said "Chris, I never hugged an FTO, but..." then you hugged me and said jokingly, "I can get used of this little man". You were a blessing to be with, an you reminded me to have fun again at work. My daughter still has a crush on you, and my family and I will never, ever, forget you. Not one bit! Your family will stay in my prayer. Love you brother Matt.

Matt was a great all around person allways willing to help out. I knew Matt for a short time through one of our friends Jessica, we were her country dancing partners. I remember when Matt became a cop it's what he wanted to do and he allways said he enjoyed it. Is all I have to say is the world lost a great person and he will allways live on in the hearts of all the people he knew and came in contact with. R.I.P Matt
