Thank you all for your warm and welcomed thoughts and prayers. My son was my heart. He had a love for humanity and compassion for all. Years before leaving for Iraq he told me he felt he needed to read the names and articles of those killed in Iraq. He wanted to honor them. Thank you for honoring him.

It always pains me to find out another fine man or woman has fallen in the line of duty. My pain was bigger this morning when I found out about Special Nathan J. Schuldheiss and his friends. To his family and friends, may the Lord keep you in the palm of His hand while you travel this life without his physical presence. Now he will be with you in spirit without leaving you for an instant.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I offer my most sincere condolences...to the parents...and sister...of Special Agent Nathan J. Schuldheiss.

I know the pain of losing a young adult son...and so my heart goes out to your parents. I have also lost a brother...when I was a teenager...again, I know what your sister is feeling.

There are no words...that will ease your family's grief. I offer my prayers...that God will give them the strength... and graces they need...in coping with such an untimely and tragic loss.

May God's perpetual light...shine upon the soul of Agent Nathan J. Schuldheiss...and may he rest in His eternal peace...for having made the ultimate sacrifice...in protecting and serving...the United States of America.

God's blessings on Nathan...and his family.

With my deepest sympathy,

Soldier,

You, and those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, are truly American heroes and we are eternally grateful for your sacrifice for our freedom. I can not thank you enough. May you travel with God's speed and may justice come to those savages who did this to you. God bless you, your family, and this great nation the United States of America with emphasis on United.

A soldier once stood at the pearly gates and asked permission to enter the kingdom of heaven. He was asked by the gate keeper why he should be allowed into the kingdom, to which the soldier replied, “I spent my life dedicated to preserving and protecting the rights of the children of God. I have fought diligently to prevent dictators from ruling the world with terror. I worked day and night to prevent genocide, mass homicide, and other atrocities from occurring. With every step I took the world became a better place. But most importantly, I have already served my time in Hell in the battlefields.” With that response the soldier heard the Father say, “Come my son, enter into my eternal rest, thou good and faithful servant.”

Rest in peace my friend; we have the watch from here.
