Steve, I cant believe its been four years. I'm sorry I missed your memorial today, I tried to be there but was unable. I think about you everyday bro. I miss you. We were suppossed to go through this career together. I feel you by my side and I know you are watching over all of your brothers and sisters but it still isn't right. I saw a recent picture of Andrew. He is getting so big, God Bless him and your whole family.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 4th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

To Steve's family: You are all in my thoughts and prayers today. I can see from the loving reflections that Steven was an amazing man who is loved and missed by so many.
