Think of you and other men like you often. When sounds of my day have waned away and things are finally quiet we can all enjoy what you fought for so many years ago. The hoot of a Barred Owl dusk or "blow" of an old Doe at dawn telling you she knows you're there. Sorry you had to give your life but it was not in vain for you were protecting what we all love so much and we are so truly grateful. Blessed are the men like you who wear the green. They are blessed to see and hear what others don't when others wont or choose not to. It's their loss. Rest easy man in green and take a walk with those that are with you.
