Patrolman George Myers suffered a fatal heart attack during a foot pursuit while pursuing a group of kids who were being a nuisance in the area Lacey Park.

The group of kids had been ringing doorbells of local residences and breaking bottles in the street in the area of Findley Terrace and Walk Street. As Officer Myers approached the group of kids fled on foot and officer Myers suffered a fatal heart attack in the middle of the intersection.
