We had such a great time working together and never doubted our futures would be in law enforcement.. and we both made it. Had lost touch with you until I heard of your accident—and I was working for the NN Airport Police at that time.

You told me you filled up your tank one day and drove until it ran out of gas, and so it brought you to Newport News. I will always remember you as respectful, kind and sweet. At a time when things were tough at home for both of us, you still kept it professional. What we had was special, clean. I thank you for that. I just found out, and it's been six years. This means you left right before my mom. I have missed you all these years and now I miss you even more. I can still hear the sound of your voice and see your smile. May you rest in peace.

I think of you and miss you every day, but as the Fall Season approaches I think of you and miss you holding on to all of the memories of you when you were a little boy and lived in the mountains of Pennsylvania. You always loved country living. Fall was one of your most favorite seasons.
