Reflections for Trooper Marc Kenneth Castellano

First I would like to say R.I.P. Marc. For all of you people who dont know Marc, he was THE NICEST man I have ever met in my life. I am only 15 years old and haven't even met a lot of people in my life yet, but that will forever stay the strongest thought in my mind. I have known his wife since the day I was born, she was like a sister to me, and all of Marc's other in-laws (The Carloni Family) I could basically say were my everyday family. Yes I do love all the fiances of this family (The 3 Carloni Kids), but the first one was the most important to me. And that was Marc Castellano, a truly amazing man. I can say I have so many memories of him and I, and truly everyone in that family. But, that would take years to explain how those times of my life were the best and how Marc basically is the defintion of a true hero. Now I type this today to let Marc's wife know, and his two children whom I love very much, that everything will be okay. May you rest in peace forever Marc. It shouldn't have been you to go. Once again, the strongest, most big hearted, most caring, and most non-selfish individual someone can know. I love you Marc and will miss you.

Love, Bud.

My heart breaks for your family as I too lost someone I love (my first husband) in the line of duty when he was struck by a tractor trailer while on a traffic stop. I pray the Lord will wrap his loving arms around your family & carry them through all of their days without you. My prayers are with your family, friends & co-workers.

To have known Marc was more then just an honor. Marc was very sincere. Marc was what a true police officer should be. He was there to help and care. As a husband his wife was the world to him. His children where his life! I feel such a lose not only for myself but his family. God welcome him to his kingdom and be with his family that was left behind.

Marc, I can honestly say that I am better for having known you. You touched many lives. You were one of the truly good and selfless people in this world. We were all so proud of you and the man you became. Your love of your job, out of a true desire to make a difference in the world, was evident as was your love for your family. There are no words to express the grief...Know that your wonderful wife and your two children will always be cared for by those who knew and loved you. Rest, my friend, and know that yes, you did make a difference.

My husband Don and I have been friends with Marc and Stephanie for many years. I have never met a more genuine person. He truly wanted to help everyone he met. My heart is broken. I will always remember all the fun we had playing Friday night volleyball at the Headliner. He was a great volleyball player and team mate. He had to stop playing when he went into the academy. We hated to lose him as a player, but were very proud when he graduated.I can't imagine what the family's going through. My husband and I will miss him, and we will be there for Stephanie and her family always.
