To have known Marc was more then just an honor. Marc was very sincere. Marc was what a true police officer should be. He was there to help and care. As a husband his wife was the world to him. His children where his life! I feel such a lose not only for myself but his family. God welcome him to his kingdom and be with his family that was left behind.

Marc, I can honestly say that I am better for having known you. You touched many lives. You were one of the truly good and selfless people in this world. We were all so proud of you and the man you became. Your love of your job, out of a true desire to make a difference in the world, was evident as was your love for your family. There are no words to express the grief...Know that your wonderful wife and your two children will always be cared for by those who knew and loved you. Rest, my friend, and know that yes, you did make a difference.

My husband Don and I have been friends with Marc and Stephanie for many years. I have never met a more genuine person. He truly wanted to help everyone he met. My heart is broken. I will always remember all the fun we had playing Friday night volleyball at the Headliner. He was a great volleyball player and team mate. He had to stop playing when he went into the academy. We hated to lose him as a player, but were very proud when he graduated.I can't imagine what the family's going through. My husband and I will miss him, and we will be there for Stephanie and her family always.

Words of grief cannot be expressed fully. Trooper Marc was the kind of man you met once and felt like you have always known him. The warmth of his personality and his contagious smile were only the beginning of who he was. In every conversation we had with Marc, his wife and kids were always mentioned. He obviously loved his family and extended family very much! We are blessed to have met and known such a dedicated husband, father, and New Jersey Trooper. With deep sympathy, we continue to pray for comfort and strength for the entire family.

Rest in Peace, brother. You are a hero not for how you died, but how you lived your life. As your children get older, they will come to understand the true meaning of Honor, Duty, and Fidelity, and how you embodied those principles.
