David Parde was a good officer just starting his career. David and I were friends and worked the same same squad prior to me moving to a different division. Even after becoming paralyzed David continued to be an inspiration to others by the way he handled his situation. Love brother and will miss you. Till Valhalla.

RIP my friend! Well done thou good & faithful servant. May God bless and comfort your family, as well as your brothers & sisters with LPD.

When I was an SRO, every summer we conducted a Youth Academy for middle school kids as a leadership class. David always gave his time to come speak to the kids. Imagine app 15 middle school kids completely silent as he described taking his last breath...before being resuscitated! To this day, I still get chill bumps.
